Favorite memories: Dancing in the HS musicals; when one of the coaches (which one?) referred to me as "Nancy" & said "those boots are made for walkin" cause I wore some white go go boots which jingled down the hall; my friends & piling into "The Tank" to drive around the corner to the burger place for shoebox size onion rings; football games; getting to be an "office runner" for 1hr.; some talent show when K. Remmert & I dressed as "butterballs", driving "the strip" (Peoria) for hours.
Unfavorite memories: being told to take off a triangular head scarf for "not being appropriate".
Favorite teacher: Ms. Newman (English)

I, too, am sad to hear this news.  Ran in the same crowd with many fond memories of after school pile into same car for fast food around the corner from MHS before heading home.  A sweet guy for sure. I'd guess he and Doug M are busy together!

Too soon, David.

To family and friends, I share my condolences and sorrow.

I am struggling with my thoughts right now.  Deeply sad Doug is no longer in a physical form to be in contact with, but also with many, many happy memories of better times.  Altho I had not seen Doug in years, we still talked by phone and did the texting back and forth, expressing his preference for cats and mine for dogs!    We had a special relationship at Memorial HS and I will cherish my deep friendship and love for him.  Be at peace special one!

My tears and smiles for his family and other friends who also miss him.
