Ron DeGarmo

Went to NEOSU in Tahlequah, graduating in 1976, in Premed and played soccer there. Moved to Wilmington, NC to teach. Finished up teaching science & coaching soccer at Laney High School in 1986. Went to Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1990. Finished my Family Practice Residency in St Pete, Florida in 1993. Practiced in a group practice till 1997. In 1997, I esablished The Family Practice in Greer, SC. Later I established DeGarmo Institute of Medical Research. I currently have 14,000 patients. We offer acupuncture, massage therapy, diagnostics, weight loss, dietitian services, research & family medicine! I work too much!! I work 6 days a week, 3 nights a week, and most Saturdays!! :(

I was a quiet, very average dude in high school. I "played football", but never suited up in a game. I ran track, especially high jump, 'broad' (long) jump, high & low hurdles, and pole vault. i enjoyed high school, but was rather shy back then!
