Debbie, so sorry to hear about Dale's passing. We enjoyed the last two years playing golf and reuniting with other guys in our class. He was very popular among our group and was always so friendly to each of us. He will be missed.
David, do you live in Oklahoma or Alabama? Clark. If you live in Alabama we might live close to you. We are living in Columbus Ga now. Let me know which and if it is near Lake Martin. Clark Moore

Ric Can you still run faster than me. You could back in the day. We were in as pain 4 years ago. I wish I would have known you were there. I lost track of you. Sounds like your doing a great work. Keep in touch and if you come to the States let us know.

I wanted to add to the many posts regarding Craig Shaphard "Shap". I was lucky enough to have been a part of the Memorial Service for Shap in Roswell, NM last week. Bruce asked me to speak about the life of Craig. Like many of you I told of experiences we had from age 14 until recently. When we turned 50 years old Tom Toburen started getting us together for some golf outings with Craig, Bruce, Schooley, Cleveland and others. We had some great "guy" times as we did this possible 6 or7 times. Tom, Julie and Diane and i had our last in person visit with Shap at M.D. Anderson in February and Tom and I talked to him on the phone in the nursing home in April. He was truly one of a kind. What an encourager was Shap. You always came away a happier person after being with him. His brother Bruce did an amazing job with Craig over the past 6 months. He took the leadership in making all the hard decisions and he showed real love for his brother especially in these last days. My prayers continue for Bruce, Craig's mother Betty and his sister Betina. Shap... may you rest in peace.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID.
